The handcrafted sphere binding the gold chain is not merely an ingenious locking mechanism, it is a painter's canvas featuring delicate touches of shadow that appear in a unique pattern. Using architectural principles of space and proportion, diamonds are hand-set upon floating layers of gold and platinum to refract the light at a precise angle and cast its unique shadow upon the sphere.
